Joanna Mikhail graduated from Covenant Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Counseling in 2018. Joanna has worked with children, families, and adults since 2008, first as an educator and then therapist. Prior to entering private practice, Joanna worked at Bilingual International Assistant Services, counseling immigrant and refugee adults and children.  

Joanna specializes in the treatment of trauma, including complex and developmental traumas. She is a trained EMDR therapist and uses EMDR with all ages.  Joanna uses play therapy with younger children who struggle with behavior and emotion regulation issues and therapy with children and adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, and grief.
